A limited edition collaboration knit between FRAGMENT DESIGN, led by Hiroshi Fujiwara, and John Smedley, a knitwear brand appointed by the British Royal Family.
While maintaining its timeless and iconic appearance, Fujiwara's modern touch is added with a relaxed silhouette, striking white placket and cuffs, and the "SEQUEL" chain stitch on the chest.
The base of the cardigan is John Smedley's high-gauge knit, which Hiroshi Fujiwara himself uses regularly. While following classic details such as turn-up cuffs, it has been updated in various places, such as a relaxing silhouette and a contrasting color scheme for the placket and cuffs.
In addition, the logo on the cardigan is based on John Smedley's archive logo used 20 years ago. The lightning mark of Fragment Design is combined with the name placement at that time, creating a unique piece of collaboration.
